What is the “Escuela de Blues”? The “Escuela de Blues” is the first and only school of blues in Argentina and South America, it is part of the prestigious Collegium Musicum (www.collegiummusicum.org.ar) of Buenos Aires. This school is a center of musical education in Blues created by Gabriel Grätzer and conducted with Mauro Diana and Gabriel Cabiaglia. The school merges artistic, pedagogical and humanistic aspects to the believe than every human being is born with a natural aptitude for music and gives you the chance to “experience” the Blues within individual or collective activities that will allow you to develop your sensibility and creativity in a satisfying way, achieving a high standard of professionalism and working opportunities. With 8 years of experience and more than 1000 students in its classrooms, our school disseminates the Blues and Afro-American music through pedagogical and didactic principles that allows a reliable teaching oriented to learn and interpret this musical style. Our school receives permanent acknowledgments for its educational and artistic contribution achieved mainly by its productive work, the excellence of its teachers, the new generations that enrich the local scene and the extensive international performances of its teachers
